Duke House, Home to NYU’s Institute of Fine Arts, Celebrates 100th Anniversary

On an elegant stretch of Fifth Avenue nearly 80 blocks north of NYU’s bustling Washington Square campus lies a stately mansion that houses NYU’s prestigious Institute of Fine Arts (IFA).


Professor George Downs Appointed Bernhardt Denmark Professor of International Affairs

Dean Thomas Carew of the NYU Faculty of Arts and Science has announced the appointment of Professor George Downs as the first incumbent of the Bernhardt Denmark Professor of International Affairs in the Wilf Family Department of Politics.

Palmer: Pizza Mercato. Everyday I'd have the 2 slices and medium drink for $3 special.

Chris: Delion Deli next to 721 Broadway for a bagel and chocolate milk before morning classes.

James: Mamoun’s!

Asit: Sam's Falafel.

Eliza: Pommes frites.

Dave: Oren's Daily Roast by Washington Square and Cafe Angelique on Bleecker, which at the time offered half-priced sandwiches after 6 or 7pm, great for night classes.

Erica: Space Market, naturally.
