Internationally renowned intellectuals Richard Sennett, Edgar Morin, Alessandro Pizzorno and Nadia Urbinati will reflect on the crisis of contemporary society and ways forward towards creating a more just society and a world which values cooperation, public compassion and an ethic of reciprocal respect, followed by a screening of NYU professor Tony Judt’s much lauded final Remarque Lecture at NYU “What is Living and What is Dead in Social Democracy”?
