On April 1, NYU alumnus, Academy Award-winning director, screenwriter, producer, actor, film historian, and preservationist, Martin Scorsese (WSC '64, STEINHARDT '68, HON '92), will deliver the 2013 Jefferson Lecture in the Humanities. This annual lecture, sponsored by the National Endowment for the Humanities, is the most prestigious honor the federal government bestows for distinguished intellectual achievement in the humanities.

The NYU Alumni Association congratulates Mr. Scorsese on this prestigious honor, and invites you to celebrate him in person at a luncheon on the day following the lecture.
