    Cynthia Li’s (STEINHARDT ’11) passion for travel and data science leader her to pursue her master's degree at NYU. Currently, she works in Beijing.

    Ruthie Lyle-Cannon has some bragging rights: She’s the first African American woman to receive a PhD in electrical engineering from NYU, and she has more US patents to her name—40-plus issued and 143 pending—than any other African American woman in history.
