    In April 1891, a law class at NYU gathered for their closing exercises. But these students, according to The New York Times, “don’t look at all like typical lawyers.” The Woman’s Law Class, sponsored by NYU and the Woman’s Legal Education Society, had completed its first year.
    Jenny Eskin (IFA ’97) is president of the Institute of Fine Arts’ Alumni Advisory Council and a first-year NYUAA Board Member. Prior to earning her MA from the Institute, Eskin earned her BA from Sarah Lawrence College. Eskin is a middle and upper school teacher at Riverdale Country School, in Bronx, NY, where she has worked for nearly 25 years.
